Everyone knows that feeling. Youre at the biggest festival of the year, partying, dancing and going crazy with your friends. Suddenly, that feeling rises. Your abdomen starts to rumble. Shit! Now you have that urge to temporarily move to the smallest cabin of the festival, for that much needed relief.
Usually, this facility is a rented Dixie, a non-environmental friendly and unpersonal bit of space that you wanna leave as soon as you enter it. A soulless 1.5 square meter of space that falls completely out of place at the otherwise atmospheric festival.
Enter our collaboration with Minerva, the academy of fine arts. Working together with students from 3 different educations from within Minerva, we will be installing our own bio-friendly eco-toilets at the Suikerunie terrain. These students have and will let their imagination run wild on the function, form and overall experience of this eco-friendly variant of the porcelain throne! And nothing will be left to chance.
Currently, there are 3 different designs in the making by 3 studentgroups. The core design for these toilets are eco-friendliness, recycling and, above all, a valuable addition to the future establishment of Paradigm and the Shift. The goal is to make your toiletvisists worthwile once more!
The students take part in this project as part of their education and are subsequently providing an added value for Paradigm and the Shift. One design will be picked from the aforementioned three designs and will be serial produced for the Paradigm Festival this summer. These transportable ecological little miracles will also be available for long term use at the Suikerunie terrain.
